Rae Crawford-Gibson

I'm Rae, a mother pursuing her PhD all while living in the woods with my partner, our two black cats, and a husky.

At the age of 30 I decided to make a major life shift after struggling with depression and anxiety. Tired of the city, I packed up my life and moved north in the hopes of finding a way to love myself. I've never looked back. Now my days are filled with caring for my little one, renovating a home, and practicing daily self-care.

I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Cultural Studies, and a Master of Arts in Cultural Analysis and Social Theory. I've worked as a post-secondary educator and am a fierce advocate for the mental health and well-being of students.
