Letters of reference may be an inconvenience to write, but they show gratitude to a dedicated employee. Here are four examples of letters that will help you write one of your own. Be sure to include the following pieces of information:
- The name of the school where they worked.
- How long they worked there.
- Their responsibilities during their period of employment.
- Your phone number or e-mail in case there are further questions.
Sample Letter for a Kindergarten Teacher Aide
To Whom it May Concern:
I would like to recommend Hayley Dominguez as a teacher aide for your school or program. She worked as a teacher assistant at Mt. Greenridge Elementary School from August 2015 to May 2018. Ms. Domiguez served in my kindergarten classroom. She was a pleasure to work with.
During her three years at Mt. Greenridge, she went above and beyond her responsibilities. She was always efficient and helpful. She developed a wonderful rapport with her students. Students loved Ms. Dominguez because of her nurturing personality.
Teacher aides like Ms. Dominguez are a rarity. She handles stressful situations well, and never complains or criticizes. In the 2016-17 school year, she did an excellent job working with a child with autism. She has excellent organization and critical thinking skills. She will be an asset to your classroom.
