In case you didn't know, iWriter is a freelance site that offers article writing service. It is used by experienced writers and trusted content buyers making it one of the most reputable freelance sites on the internet today.

If you are looking for a place to get quality written content for your website or blog, you can consider this service. You can buy high quality articles, eBooks and rewrites from this platform which is also one of the best places for cheaper content.

The platform is a genuine one, not a fraud. Some freelancers might think that it’s one of those scam sites, but I can confidently say that it's not. I have been a member as a content requester and also as a writer for over 4 years, and I have never experienced any disappointments with the service.

If you are planning to buy content on iWriter, read on to learn how to create a complete account, deposit money into it, post work and make use of other site features.

There is no way you can request or buy content on iWriter without an account, so you need to sign up and complete your account profile.

The site doesn't charge people money to create accounts and to use their services, so it is free to sign up. After completing your account, you can deposit funds into it and start requesting articles.

How to Sign Up with iWriter as a Content Requester, in Brief

  • Visit the platform.
  • Click on the "Sign Up" link.
  • Fill in your names, username, email address and password.
  • Sign up and confirm the registration from the link send to your email.
  • Sign in to your account and click on the "Edit Profile" link on the homepage.
  • Upload your picture and write a short bio (not mandatory).
  • Enter a valid PayPal email address and other payment methods that can charge your account.
  • Save.

2. Watch a Simple Video Tutorial to Get Started on iWriter

iWriter operators have created a simple video tutorial to help you know how to use their platform. In order to start ordering content without any challenges, you need to go through this tutorial.

Writers will only work on your project accordingly if you fill the request form correctly, so know how to fill the form by watching the video tutorial.

You can watch the video tutorial from here!

3. Comply with Terms of Use to Enjoy Easy Content Ordering

Like other websites, this article writing platform has terms of use that you should comply with to avoid breaking the rules. Your account will be suspended or blocked if you go against the terms and conditions, making it difficult for you to order content.

There are a number of reasons for banning of iWriter accounts, including scamming and spam projects. You can also get blocked if you reject an article and go ahead to use it. Some content requesters think that their accounts have been hacked when they get banned, but this is usually not the case. See some of the notifications that you receive when you have been banned.

"Error: Your account has been blocked due to scamming rating."

"Error: IP is temporarily banned because you are using too many iWriter accounts."

The first ban occurs when you try to scam the platform with spam projects. The same ban can also happen when you send unsolicited emails about the platform. The second ban happens when the site operators blocks some IPs (IP class range) or when you create a new account after being banned. Some IPs from India, Bangladesh and Kenya (Orange Internet Provider) have been blocked.

If you get blocked, you can request your money by sending a message to the customer care team. This is possible if you have the minimum amount i.e., $20, in your account. So if you get suspended or blocked with less than $20, it may not be necessary to request your funds.

5. Pay for Content Accordingly to Word Count & Quality Level

As mentioned above, article prices on iWriter are pretty affordable. It is only on this platform where you can get an article for $1.25. The amount you pay for an article depends on the word count and writer's level. This service offers 150, 300, 400, 500, 700, 1000 and 2000 word-articles.

The minimum charges include $2.00 for a 300-word article, $2.50 for a 400-word article, $3.00 for a 500-word article, $5.00 for a 700-word article, $9.00 for a 1000-word article and $18.00 for a 2000-word article. There are also the eBooks which come at higher prices.

You will enjoy the most affordable prices from the standard writers. On the other hand, you will find it expensive to hire elite writers who, of course, provide articles and eBooks of higher quality.

6. Request Content From Any Field/Niche

This freelancing site has writers who can write on a wide range of topics and niches. When you post a project, it is picked by a writer who understands the topic well. This means that you can only get high quality content. Almost all fields are covered here, except the ones that go against the terms and conditions of the platform.

The platform uses Copyscape to detect any duplicate content. Copyscape itself is a plagiarism checker, and before an article is submitted to the requester, it is passed through it to find if it is original. The writer is requested to revise the article if it is not original. This means that requesters get only unique content.

7. Hire Premium and Elite Writers for High Quality Content

There are 4 types of writers on this freelance site: standard, premium, elite and elite plus. The premium and elite writers provide high quality work, so you need to submit your project to these writers if you are looking for great work.

The best writers have a rating of 4 stars and more. The star rating criterion is used by requesters to rate writers, and in doing so, improve the service. The site operators also encourage buyers to rate writers in order to create a pool of good writers.

8. Get Unique Versions of Your Articles

This content writing platform provides you with unique versions of your articles to post on web 2.0 sites, article directories and other sources of backlinks. This service is usually offered by syndication networks and is used by webmasters to improve SEO on sites and blogs. Most service providers charge 2-10 dollars for the service.

Articles written via iWriters come with separate text files containing unique versions of the articles. The platform does not charge you anything for this feature, so it is a plus when using it to buy articles.

9. Provide Clear Instructions to Enjoy Quicker Turn-Around

If your project has well-understood instructions, it will be completed in a matter of hours. iWriter has allocated each word count a certain amount of completion time.

The 150, 300 & 400-word articles are supposed to be completed within 2 hours, 500-word articles within 3 hours and 700, 1000 & 2,000-word-articles within 5 hours.

10. Build a List of Favorite Writers

In the course of approving your completed projects, you will come across writers who consistently deliver high quality work. If you like these writers to continue working for you, you can put them on your favorite list and start sending them special requests.

The special requests will be available only to your favorite writers. Building a list of favorite writers is a great way to get quality content from this service.

11. Use Your Completed Content to Get Backlinks on iWriter

You can publish your completed content on sites affiliated to iWriter and get quality backlinks. Backlinks are some of the most important SEO techniques you need to improve the ranking of your website in search engines like Google and Bing.

This site has partnered with the SEO Nitro network to allow content buyers submit their articles for a very low publishing fee. You can easily get a large number of backlinks (hundreds or thousands) using this article submission feature.

12. Become an Affiliate and Make Some Bucks

Content requesters who have blogs or websites can benefit from the iWriter’s affiliate program. After you have been allowed to participate in this program, you are given an affiliate link which you can add to your blog or website. The affiliate link earns you a commission when another content buyer joins the platform through it and posts work.

If you want to increase your earnings, you can send emails about the writing service, but spamming is not allowed. You can also make use of banners (provided by the operators) to boost the affiliate links. You should have a PayPal account to receive the money earned by your affiliate link.

You can set your iWriter account to receive your earnings every week on Tuesday, after every two weeks on Wednesday or after every month on 5th or 25th. The lowest payout is $20, so you will be paid after you accumulate this amount in your account.

13. Be Patient When You Encounter Site Errors

While browsing the site pages, you can come across some errors. Some of these errors disappear after a while while others are permanent probably due to ban or suspension. The temporary errors usually occur due to high traffic on the platform. Here are some of the common errors:

  • "Not Found - The requested URL /404_not_found.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
  • "Critical database error: Connection was refused by server. Please try again later."

Hello Pmax, You can avoid writing for requesters with high rejection rates or those who rate poorly. Also, if you have issues with quality of your writing, just improve it and you'll be ok.

I really like this particular post on iWriter Review. I am an iwriter (content writer) member and lemmy ask you a question which probably cannot be answered by iwriter dashboard or FAQ column. Here's my question: Is there a possibility of avoiding my account from being banned due to ratings that fail to meet the minimum requirements? Any tricks maybe? Unfortunately I fell into the hands of very strict requesters who downplayed my ratings.
