How do you pay Meralco with previous balance? Mine keeps saying invalid MRN and I'm using the scan QR code, it's not working.
If your QR scanner isn't working, you can try to manually input your MRN/Meralco Reference Number and other billing details. You can find the instruction in this article. If it still does not work, you can try to contact GCash Care for assistance to figure out if the problem is with the app or with your Meralco account.Helpful 31
Is there any other option for the “Pay For” category. Because I can’t proceed with payment for my previous balance. What should I do?
As per "Pay For" option, it seems like there's only one: "Total Current Amount". Have you tried inputting/adding your current balance and the previous one in one payment? I haven't tried this but there's a possibility that it's actually how it should be done, given that there's only one option for payment. But if you've already tried this, you can check if you already have a disconnection notice. They said that your MRN would not work anymore if you already have a notice, which means it's best to find another payment option outside of the app. You can also message GCash Care on messenger for further assistance.Helpful 12
