Internet is now a huge part of everyone's life, especially in the Philippines, dubbed as the world's heaviest Internet user of 2019 by Hootsuite and We are Social.

PLDT is one of the biggest internet providers in the country. This telecommunications, internet, and digital service holdings company and is the oldest and largest telecom company in the Philippines. PLDT had more than 4.1 million home subscriptions as of the end of 2017. Paying for internet service from PLDT is now a part of the monthly routine of many Filipinos, together with electricity and water bills. This is why most of us are trying to find easier ways to do these tasks, and technology is offering us more convenient options like the GCash app.

GCash is a service from Globe Telecom allowing cashless transactions where you can buy load, book movies, pay QR, shop online, and send money. As an authorized partner of Bayad Center (a Meralco company), GCash allows you to pay bills including your PLDT Home internet service. In this article, I list the steps by which you can conveniently pay your PLDT home DSL or Fibr bill using your phone, whenever or wherever you are, hassle-free, using the GCash app.

If you still don't have a GCash account and would love to try and use their services you can use my link and click here to register. You can then download the GCash app and proceed to pay your bills and get the most out of their services.

How to Pay Your PLDT Home DSL / Fibr Internet Bill Using the GCash App

Step 1

Open your GCash App account with your 4-digit MPIN.

Step 2

Look for the "Pay Bills" icon from the list of the main services menu.

Step 3

Then find and tap the "Telecoms" icon from the Biller Category list.

Step 4

From the list of Telecommunication companies, scroll down and look for "PLDT DSL" just above "PLDT Landline" and below "Globe Postpaid."

You can tap the heart icon next to it to find it easier next time you pay your bill.

Step 5

Fill up the form with your Account Number, Telephone Number and your payment amount. Email can be optional but I highly recommend providing your email address to receive a receipt straight to your inbox.

After entering all the needed information, hit "Next."

Step 6

You would be given the chance to check the information you have provided. You should also note that there would be a service fee. This is why your total payment would be your bill amount plus PHP 7.00.

After making sure you have agreed and entered everything correctly, tap "Confirm."

Step 7

After confirming, you'd receive a payment notification on your screen. You can either screenshot this page or wait for the email copy of the payment to serve as your receipt.

Note that payments can take up to 24 hours for the payment to reflect on your PLDT account and payments made after 8 PM will be posted on the next business day.
