RPH terminated for purportedly prescribing a non controlled RX-only medication to a colleague and dispensing it from their home despite not having the authority to theoretically prescribe meds or being physically present to dispense said RX. How would you state verbatim the reason for dismissal on an application? Additionally, how would you elaborate on this potential isolated, uncharacteristic momentary lapse in judgment during an interview?
I think you stated it perfectly right there. There is no good way to state something like that, so it's just better to be straight to the point about it. During an interview, you can state it was a lapse in judgment and it won't occur again. However, you need to be prepared to really go into detail on why you did it, what you learned from it, and how you will prevent it from happening again in the future.
