People love their pets and spend a lot of money on them. This undisputed fact can put cash in your pocket. There are numerous pet product affiliate programs out there that want to do just that. Some are well-known companies. Others may not be common names you associate with pet products but they are still reputable and pay well. Even if your website is not pet-oriented, it can be pet-friendly. Animal lovers are everywhere.

Pets Warehouse

Pets Warehouse boasts that it is the largest dealer of pet products worldwide carrying over 43,000 products. Established in 1974, Pets Warehouse offers affiliates tiered incentives based on monthly sales. Joining their affiliate program is free, most websites are accepted and there is no minimum sales requirement.

DogToys has a pretty good revenue sharing program that has been around since 1997. They pride themselves on excellent customer service and repeat business. They sell their dog toys and products by dog breed which has proven to be very popular. The affiliate program works through Commission Junction and joining is free.

The Carefree Pet

The Carefree Pet considers itself the pet industry's leader in natural and holistic pet care with a focus on overall pet health. Their products cater to dogs, cats, and horses. Affiliates don't even need a website to join the affiliate program as they allow you to post banners on blogs and other venues. The Carefree Pet pays monthly and is free to join.

Animal Den is not a place for pets but for pet lovers. They carry all kinds of cool items that celebrate your furry or feathered friends. Everything from animal-related jewelry, clocks, T-shirts, and mousepads can be purchased here. Animal Den's affiliate program is easy and free to join. They value their affiliates as much as their customers.

Pay Out

Earn 12% commission for gross sales up to $1000.00 per month. Earn 13% commission for gross sales of $1,000.00 or more per month.

Spoil My Kitty

Spoil My Kitty focuses its attention on the 73 million households in America that include a cat or cats. They offer a large assortment of bedding, furniture, condos, strollers and everything else a spoiled cat could want. Spoil My Kitty's affiliate program is free and easy to join and includes a $10.00 deposit just for signing up.

Pay-per-sale - 7% of all you sell


This company sells some top-of-the-line aquariums and accessories. They feature built-in wall aquariums and wall mounted aquariums as seen on TV's Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. They also do coffee table fish tanks and many other unique and beautiful aquarium ideas. Their affiliate program does not require a website and has a $500 monthly pay off cap. They track referrals for thirty days and pay a commission if a purchase is made in that time.

Classic Hound

Classic Hound is a wonderful place to buy collars, leashes, charms and other classy accessories for hounds and their people. It's a people-friendly site which is sure to help sales. Classic Hound's affiliate program offers a broad collection of banners, text links and images to choose from. For every 30 sales you make, they increase the percentage of what is earned.

Pay Out

10% on every sale knows a lot about birds. They offer a wide range of products from bird cages and accessories to food and toys. Their site is user-friendly and includes a learning center. If you prefer other animal or pet products, has links to them. The affiliate program is called TABcom and can be accessed through Commission Junction. It's free and easy to sign up and they are available for any questions you might have.

Natural Wonder Pets

Natural Wonder Pets is a smaller company that credits its success with honest business practices. They carry their own homegrown natural products and they claim their sales are booming. None of their products are available in retail stores so they get a lot of repeat business. Their herbal products are popular and they advance payment rate based on performance.

5% to 8% or more commission on each sale

15% - 18% re-occurring commissions

Cesar's Way

Sponsored by the New York Times bestselling author, Cesar Milan, this website offers books, dog supplies and training DVDs that address common behavior problems and training. his no-nonsense approach is easy to understand and Cesar enjoys a respected presence in the dog training world. This reputation alone attracts motivated buyers. It's free to join their affiliate program which is run by Commission Junction.

5 - 8% commission with a 35-day tracking cookie

I did not include PetSmart on this list as I could not find the commission payout on any of their pages.
