Healing videos for the mind and brain

The number of unique, interesting and surprisingly popular YouTube video niches are growing, and one that has become very compelling over the last several years has been those usually identified as Brain Wave videos.

Similar to the types of videos I recently wrote about that are primarily to help relax a person and help them sleep, these videos, while having a similar effect, also cater to those seeking mental healing, easing of pain, Solfeggios, guided meditations, cleansing negative energy in the home, inner peace, deep sleep, and autogenic training, among many other anticipated benefits of the sounds.

Also like the nature sounds videos, these videos don't require any type of video or audio equipment, as they can be made with only an internet connection and computer or device, and whatever type of video editing program you have.

Example of brain or mind wave videos

Before we get into how you can make these types of videos, it's a good idea to take a look at what they're like.

The one below called "Sleep Music Delta Waves: Relaxing Music to Help you Sleep, Deep Sleep, Inner Peace meditationrelaxclub," is the leading traffic generator of this type of video sound I could find. It has over 80 million views when I discovered it.

Here's a description of what the video represented from those making it:

"Sleep Music Delta Waves: Relaxing Music to Help you Sleep, Deep Sleep, Inner Peace and Autogenic Training. Relaxing Sounds for Relaxation Meditation, Tai Chi and Reiki. Meditation Music Video, Meditation Video with Delta Waves to Help you Sleep."

See the image used below? It's very easy to find these types of images that require no attribution and can be used for any type of video, including for commercial purposes.

Just go to any website with free photos for use and search for the images. Use searches like mind energy, body energy, mind, brain, or mind healing, to start off with. They usually will bring up an image that will go with the brain wave theme.

What you need to make these types of brain, mind healing videos

These types of videos are nothing more or less than an image related to the brain wave theme, along with some type of new age type of soundtrack. It's as simple as that.

All you have to do is locate an image you like, find the desired soundtrack, and then loop the video so it plays for as long as you want it to. That is the primary reason for needing a video editor of some type.

Here are some places you can get free soundtracks from. Some require attributions, many don't. Just be sure to read the terms of service for each soundtrack, as they can differ from soundtrack to soundtrack.

First, be sure to consider that YouTube still has its audio library available. For these types of brain wave videos, "Ambient" is the genre to choose.

Others are Free Music Archive, Free Stock Music, Free Soundtrack Music, and Free Music Archive.

Audio Jungle offers audio soundtracks from $1 and up, while Ambient-mixer allows you to even make your own tracks if you want, for free, but they do charge to download it in mp4 format.

If you want something unique and already have a following on YouTube, the latter could be a good option; especially if you enjoy mixing audio.

You can even get a very good video editor for free. Go here for that. You could use Movie Maker from Microsoft if you have it, although it doesn't loop in the way mentioned above. You would have to continue to add the same file to the platform to extend the playing time. If you're making a fairly short video, that isn't really a problem. It would take a lot of work and effort if you were to try to do that with a longer video. I wouldn't recommend that unless it's the only way you can do it.

Even under those conditions you could try shorter videos and market them as healing snacks or short-term treatments. You never know what will work until you try it.

More brain and mind videos to get ideas from

Next we'll look at examples of brain wave videos that have generated at least 2 million views. I'm including the exact name of the videos, the videos themselves, and the number of views they have received as of this writing. They aren't in any particular order.

Be sure to note the words used in the titles, and also go check out underneath the videos to find the way they describe them in further detail.

Music to Cleanse of Negative Energy at Home Space. Meditation & Relaxation - Music channel

This video had 3,970,292 views when I last looked. Notice how it differentiates by focusing on negative energy in the home, while adding the buzzwords of meditation and relaxation, along with music to the title.

Even though these videos may not appear to offer a lot of variety in their actual audio files, they are positioned in the minds of listeners as targeting a specific need or desire.

Compelling YouTube video title

I like the way that video title starts off. What a compelling way to attract attention. It has worked well, as the 2,262,446 views confirms.

When using the word "warning," let's face it, we are attracted by our natural, engrained curiosity to at least check this "dangerous" thing out.

The words following warning work very well with it. Words like powerful, chanting, and deep meditation provide a complementary impetus to the title, which grabs your attention.

Each video targets specific brain wave interests

7.83 Hz | The Powerful Healing Frequency of Earth's Magnetic Field | Boost Positive Energy PowerThoughts Meditation Club

I found the 7.83 Hz at the beginning of this brain wave video title very interesting. Again, following it up with the phrase "powerful haling frequency of the earth's magnetic field," adds a lot of ancillary strength to the title.

No wonder 2,278,556 people listened to the video.

Focusing on aura and sleep meditation

In this audio video there is another completely different way of saying the same thing; although there is no doubt people that make differentiations in these types of sounds know exactly what is being communicated.

What isn't to like about the term "aura" and "cleansing sleep meditation?" People obviously were attracted to the title, as it had 8,054,195 views the last time I looked.

Lucid dreams and other video descriptions

Another video with a large number of views, this time 8,706,120, uses another set of terms to attract people wanting to relax and sleep better, while entertaining an interest in lucid dreams.

Not only is this phrase used as a differentiator, there are other interesting terms like binaural beats, and other words associated with them. With these videos, most the battle, once they're made, is to come up with a compelling and interesting title that gives the appearance of offering something different.

Of course they are different in general, but the key is to come up with different titles and a little different sound that appeals to a specific, targeted person.

Miracle tone - why not?

Finally we have a title of 432Hz, this time with a description of it being a "miracle tone." It has attracted 6,279,432 views.

I like how the phrase "positive vibrations is included, and then following that is "healing frequency." Who wouldn't want to tune in to see how it works on them?

Understanding what's going on

While this appears extremely easy to do, not all these types of brain wave videos generate millions of hits. They usually do okay, but it's not all slapping together an image and an audio track and uploading it to YouTube.

That's the process, but where the differentiator comes in is with using a compelling image, and to include a unique title to the video, along with a description underneath that includes a variety of long tail words.

Once you get it down it's not hard to do, but the key is to think through the title and description above all else. People are using many of the words in the titles to find soothing and perceived healing music for sleep and to relax or heal their minds and brains.

Conclusion

For true believers of brain wave audio healing, there are many accompanying elements to consider in regard to serving that particular demographic. That doesn't mean all people listening to the soundtracks are concerned with that. Most just want to be able to sit or lay back and relax.

What is important is to know the terminology used by many of those seeking this sound therapy, as they may not get into the philosophy behind it, but they will search out the terms used in the genre in order to find the types of video soundtracks they're looking for.

Some keywords or keyword phrases to consider using are 528 Hertz, 432Hz frequency, releasing emotional blockages, expands our consciousness, distress, wisdom of the Universe, Divine Intelligence, constant state of vibration, resonance, grounding, affirmations, anxiety, meditative, pure binaural, theta binaural beat, reduce anxiety, heal your body, sleep better, increase understanding, enhance emotional intelligence, boost your mood, Chakra, lucid dreaming, brainwave entrainment, sound therapy, stress, hyper-alertness, panic, frustration, Solfeggio Frequencies, and guided meditations, among many others.

Videos used for rest, relaxation, healing the mind or brain, or any other perceived or real benefit, are very popular. We're living in an age of extreme pressure and stress, and those providing outlets of relief will attract people to their content.

Simple videos made with ambient music, a targeted description, and a good image, provide a good chance of it attracting a lot of viewers, while helping them to relieve the stress building up in and on them.

It doesn't get much better than helping people while generating revenue from it. Brain wave videos are a great way to do both.
